Barry was a true gentleman whatever the situation. He was a real family man, even with extended family members. It was lovely seeing the rapport he had with David. They had numerous adventures and shared their stories on his trips to Australia. Not forgetting the day at the beach in Perth on a 40+ day. We had to rush him back home as his face got redder and redder and ply him with orange juice and water. We soon realised why, when he mentioned his doctor had told him to never leave his singlet off. David made a point of making sure he didn't overdress for the rest of his holiday. RIP Barry. Look how the world is already without you.
