Thinking of you today on Fathers Day xxx

They say times a great healer... Two months have passed since you were taken away, I miss you dad, every second, of everyday. Times a great healer or so they say, And life goes on, as well it may, You taught me to love, be kind and share, your love was unconditional, generous and fair. Your coat and shoes are hanging where you took them off that day, your clothes on the chair by my bed will stay, your slippers still sit by the door in the hall, your stick still leans in the corner on the wall, to ever move these things, oh where would I start, to ever do this dad would tear me apart. They say times a great healer, and life must goes on.... But for now this feels impossible and somehow quite wrong! I know I will make it, get better, be strong, because you taught me how to do this long before you were gone. The hole you have left in my heart will stay, although times a great healer, or so they say... life must go on, I know this is right, until I see you again, I love you dad... sleep tight x
